Dr. Roland G. Nentwich is a specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. He began his studies as an undergrad at Holy Cross College in Worcester. Then, he attended the University of Buffalo where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Following his studies, he practiced general dentistry in his own practice in Oxford, Mass. He continued on the path of education and received his Masters in Oral Medicine at the University of Buffalo and also completed his orthodontic clinical rotation and received his orthodontic certificate from the Eastman Dental Center (University of Rochester) in 1996.
Since 1997, Dr. Nentwich has taken on the role of clinical instructor and guest lecturer at the Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston. He teaches courses like Facial Growth and Development and Growth Guidance through Orthopedic Appliances.
In addition to his teaching, he is also affiliated with organizations such as the Worcester Dental Society (where he is co-editor), the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists (where he is Board qualified in orthodontics), the American Dental Society and the Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Nentwich is a strong supporter of continuing education. He continually attends meetings and conferences in order to refine his expertise. He also promotes continuing education for his team and encourages each member to attend seminars and workshops in order to expand their knowledge and skills.
On a personal level, he is happily married with five children, four of whom are girls, and loves to spend time traveling, skiing, snorkeling, hiking, jogging and plays some golf now and then.
